A visit to see the experiments at the Large Hadron Collider, CERN including the Compact Muon Solenoid whilst they are down for maintenance.

The tour includes visits to the Science History Museum on the banks of Lake Geneva and scientific sites in the Old City.

Although firm bookings have not been accepted yet, the ‘interested’ list is already oversubscribed.

You are very welcome to add your name to the ‘interested’ list as we may plan a second trip in the autumn.

However the trip in May is proving so popular that it will be difficult to offer a place to everyone who would like to go then.

We will keep you informed as we make progress on our plans. I am sorry if you are disappointed but we feel we should manage expectations!

For those of you who have already put your name forward for the May trip we will be sending out further details this month. There will then be a chance to confirm places.
