Thursday 27th March 2014 @ 18:30
to Sunday 30th March 2014

Roderick Rhys Jones - Tour Leader

So great has been the interest in our tours of CERN that we are delighted to announce arrangements for a third visit for our Members.

CERN III will take place from the evening of Thursday 27 March to the morning of Sunday 30 March.

As before, we have booked the charming Hotel de France in Ferney-Voltaire, France. This small town is conveniently located for CERN, Geneva airport and the centre of Geneva. We will be meeting for dinner on Thursday evening and on Friday we are arranging tours of the Large Hadron Collider and the Compact Muon Solenoid at CERN. On Saturday we will be visiting Geneva to see the Museum of History of Science; the Botanical Gardens, with free time before a guided walking tour of the Old City and the closing dinner. We will be arranging lunch, dinners and most local transportation as part of the tour.
