One dictionary definition of soiree is an elegant evening gathering, usually at someone's home.

Friends Soirees' feature in-depth, rich conversation and exploration of their subject matter. They are much smaller than lectures and are held in the prestigious Solar Room at 170 Queens Gate, Imperial College London. A glass of wine (or two...) and nibbles are served.

Dr Nick de Leon received his PhD from Imperial College Business School, where his research addressed the impact of information and communication technologies on the social and economic vitality of cities. He has an engineering degree from Imperial College and a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art.
