Given the coronavirus situation, we had to postpone our remaining live events for the 2019/20 academic year. These will be rescheduled into our 2020/21 programme starting in the Autumn. To continue sharing knowledge at this time, each week we are increasing the online offering of previous lectures from our archives.

Friday with Friends sees a new recording released every Friday of our most popular Friends public lectures held at Imperial College London. There is already a collection building up for you to view on the Friends YouTube channel. Topics range from:

  • astrophysics to climate change
  • electric aircraft engineering to quantum mechanics
  • space exploration to stem cell research

View our YouTube channel here

You can subscribe to the channel for free by clicking the red ‘subscribe’ button on the YouTube page, you can then get sent notice of when another lecture has been added.

Below are two of our most recent Friday with Friends releases, click on each to view these sell-out lectures.

Whether you missed them at the time, or want a reminder of the topic, take a look at the discoveries and developments that were happening then from the very people that were making them!

We also thought it might be worth highlighting one of our past lectures most relevant to the current issue for you to view:

Support our 2020/21 Programme Appeal here

We are highly reliant on ticket sales to fund the running of Friends, therefore we have been severely impacted by the current loss of live-event income. In order to plan and run our 2020/21 programme we are seeking donations of support.

Click here for the information on our Friends of Imperial College 2020/21 programme appeal, and find out how you can help.

Together we can continue to provide inspiration through education!
