"As a long-term Member of Friends and through various roles within the organisation, I have been delighted to welcome so many of you to our events and indeed to gain such positive feedback about them.
As a charity operating independently but collaboratively with Imperial, Friends relies on income from Memberships, event tickets and donations. We operate with a team of volunteers, supported by our Friends Administrator and rely upon the goodwill of speakers and the College to provide access to facilities. This enables us to balance the books.
Your support is more important to us now than ever as your help keeps Friends inspiring through education and providing access to world-class research. We strive to bring the best, most interesting, most challenging and most important scientific developments from Imperial to the widest possible audience.
Friends events blend access to science alongside an opportunity to socialise with other members, guests and the wider public, we need your sustaining support to ensure we can provide our ongoing programme.
