Over half the world’s population now live in cities and it is estimated to increase to 66 per cent by 2050. This will bring challenges to healthcare provision, infrastructure, transport and resource allocation.
This event will look at the complexity, science and engineering that underpins our current city infrastructure and services, the problems we face when things go wrong, and the new technologies and innovations that will underpin our cities of the future.
